Attempt a push, wait for a popup asking for username/password, enter same username as used to create the app password and paste the app password. Delete 'C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\ passwd '.![]() Weâre also security conscious and so we have to change our passwords every couple of months â however this then breaks SourceTree. Manually delete all credentials in Sourcetree ( Tools -> Options -> Authentication). As such I use SourceTree a lot to manage my code. We also use the suite of Atlassian products for managing tasks, code, and deployment.
